After more than 30 years leading enterprise technology operations, service delivery, and automation initiatives, Akiena (“Kie”) Bordain-Dodds founded GDA Enterprises, LLC in May 2026 with a clear mission:

To help small business owners operate independently smarter, look more professional, and grow with confidence through modern technology solutions.

The vision for the company began years earlier through Kie’s cousin, Tiffany Houser, a cosmetology professional with more than 30 years of beauty industry experience. While Tiffany studied Information Technology in college, her true passion has always been cosmetology. Through decades of working closely with beauty professionals, she recognized a major gap in the industry: many talented Beauty Bosses lacked access to the technology, automation, branding, and operational support needed to successfully grow and sustain modern businesses.

Motivated by that need, Tiffany originally launched an IT consulting concept called “Software Chickz,” focused on helping beauty professionals better navigate technology and business systems.

As the vision evolved, Tiffany approached Kie about expanding the original concept into something larger — a company focused on helping service-based businesses grow beyond dependency on social media and third-party booking platforms through technology, automation, branding, and professional business systems.  That collaboration ultimately evolved into GDA Enterprises, LLC — a company built on the belief that small business owners deserve the same level of professionalism, operational structure, customer experience, and growth strategy traditionally available to larger organizations.

Today, Tiffany serves as GDA Enterprises’ Beauty Industry Subject Matter Expert, helping bridge the gap between real-world service-based business operations and the modern challenges entrepreneurs face within social media and third-party booking platforms. Her insight helps GDA better understand how beauty professionals and other service providers experience platform dependency, customer visibility, online competition, and the day-to-day realities of building a business in today’s digital marketplace.

Together, Kie and Tiffany combine enterprise-level systems thinking with authentic service industry insight to help entrepreneurs build stronger brands, create independent business systems, automate operations, and deliver premium client experiences designed for long-term ownership, profitability, and sustainable growth.
